成人英语辅导

我们 ESL 班上的移民成年人希望学习英语，以便工作和日常生活。但许多人没有信心或机会与英语使用者交谈。我们的成人辅导计划招募和培训志愿者成为英语辅导员。我们的学生有机会练习英语并发展跨文化友谊。

我们的义务辅导老师们来自各行各业，有的还是大学生，有的则已经退休了。他们有一个共同点，就是渴望以亲密地与我们的社区有联系、接触，并以基督的爱感动每一个人的心。

In addition to tutoring, the program offers Conversation, Phonics, Work-related classes on Saturdays taught by volunteers who have teaching experience or are getting ESL training.

Student Eligibility and Enrollment

Students who are in a Pui Tak Center ESL class are eligible. Your teacher will provide information about enrolling in tutoring or volunteer-led classes
Students need to be available for weekly tutoring session for a minimum of 4 months
The tutors will help students with whatever they want to improve conversation, grammar, naturalization preparation or job search

Fill out our volunteer form
Complete an online background check
After applicant is approved, staff will provide orientation and training
Volunteer will be matched with a student at a mutually convenient time
Tutoring sessions can be either remote or in-person at Pui Tak Center
Volunteers make a weekly commitment of 1-2 hours for at least 4 months
