Immigrant Welcoming Center (IWC)
Pui Tak Center's Immigrant Welcoming Center (IWC) serves as a one-stop hub for Chinese immigrant families with limited English proficiency, providing Comprehensive Case Management, Community Education, and Community Alliances with cultural sensitivity and linguistic competency. As a trusted first stop for many Chinese newcomers and refugees in Chicago, our staff—many of whom are immigrants themselves—understand the challenges of navigating life in a new country, from communicating with doctors to integrating into the community. By God’s grace, we strive to help others overcome these struggles and thrive in this land of opportunity.
